A few years ago, President Donald Trump and King Salman of Saudi Arabia took their daughter, Ivanka Trump, to a royal visit in the U.S. and a visit to a fish farm in Saudi Arabia, the White, House and Kingdom’s Fishhouse, according to the Associated Press.

The two families were photographed eating and chatting, and in an Instagram post, Ivanka’s father, Jared Kushner, said his daughter and her husband, Jared Cohen, were “excited and thrilled” to be with them.

A day later, the Saudi Foreign Ministry confirmed that Ivanka had visited the kingdom, and said the two had “great discussions.”

They “discussed their upcoming visit to Saudi Arabia and their plans for the future,” according to a statement.

“Both of them expressed their love and appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s culture and people, and they wish the best of luck for the Kingdom.”
